1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used on many sites to make websites work, remember preferences, and track visitors for analytics or advertising. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, are covered by this policy as well. 

2. Our approach

The Atmospheric Impact Initiative (“Aii,” “we,” “us”) designed atmosphericimpact.org (the “Site”) to use as few cookies as possible. The Site sets only a small number of strictly necessary cookies required to deliver the Site itself, set by our hosting platform, WordPress.com. These are not used to track your behavior, collect personal information, or share data with third parties, and the Site uses no analytics, advertising, social media, or other tracking cookies. We measure Site traffic with Fathom Analytics, a cookieless service that reports only aggregate statistics (visits, page views, document downloads, country-level location) and does not build profiles of individual visitors. 

3. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time, including if any cookies are introduced to the Site. The current version will always be posted on the Site. Questions can be directed to legal@atmosphericimpact.org.
